Ben Affleck as Batman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

Zack Snyder on May 13th 2014 released the 1st Pictures from the set of the new Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. We Finally get to see our very 1st Picture of Ben Affleck in the Batman Suit which we 1st heard about from Film Maker/Actor/Writer/Podcaster and all around genius Kevin Smith. He saw a colored photo of Ben Affleck in the suit from Ben himself and on his Hollywood Babble-On podcast on November 12th 2013 he said

“I saw the Batman costume. More than that I saw a picture of him in the costume …. You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this “Matrix”/”X-Men” black armor thing. There wasn’t a single nipple on this f*cking suit. For a comic-book fan it was mind-bending. I’m already a flag waver for this movie, but the costume, it blew my mind.”

Then again after the Photo release, on Hollywood Babble-On May 16th 2014 he said

“As you may remember, I saw a photo of the Batsuit many months ago, and many people asked online, ‘Is that the picture you saw?’ No, that is a very cool picture, but that is not the picture I saw. They put it on a fake rooftop, and they lit it up. But it was in color, and you could see every piece of detail. So I’ve seen some people online go, ‘Why is this f*cking suit any different than the Chris Nolan Batsuit, it’s all one f*cking color.’ It’s like, ‘Dude, that’s a monochrome photo. You know what that means, one chrome. …

“That’s not a representation of what the suit looks like. So what the suit looks like, and I was always kind of keeping it quiet until they revealed it, but they’ve revealed it. And you can kind of see, and anybody that… you’ve seen some people take the picture and color it online. If you want to see what this f*cking suit looks like, you just go to Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, go to the third book, Hunt the Dark Knight…it’s the exact f*cking outfit he’s wearing.”

Could one of these be what the new Batman V Superman Dawn of Justice Batman suit looks like? If so, what do you think of Ben Affleck as the new Batman? Do you like this suit? It’s a real departure from the previous suits that have been portrayed in the other films that is for sure. I for one am a fan and look forward to more shots and to see Ben Affleck’s Batman in Action against Henry Cavill’s Superman. Not to mention we have yet to See Wonder Woman or Lex Luther.
